There is an option to save changes to the layout of the entry and listing screens. This includes adding or removing fields or changing the size of columns.
The option is attached to the User.
In the Main menu go to Users Admin and select Users:
When setting up a new user or editing a current one you will need to switch on the option Automatic save of layout at the bottom of the screen:
In each of the screens you can add extra fields to the listing or entry screen by clicking on the icon at the top left: Then select Choose columns and tick any extra columns you want shown or you can remove fields which you do not use.
It is also possible to move columns across the screen and make the columns smaller or larger to suit your preferred layout. Simply click on the header of a column so the icon has changed to a finger, hold the mouse button down then drag and drop the column to the new position. To change the size of the column, hover the mouse over the edge of a header field until it shows as a double arrow, hold the mouse button down and drag the edge of the column to the size that is wanted.
If you need to revert your changes, click on the More button and select Back to original view:
