Setting up Stocks

Stocks

The stock register will only be available if the Stocks module has been purchased and it has been enabled.

Stock nominals

Ledgers > Nominals to display the listing screen. 

You will need to set up nominals for the different types of stock as well as Valuation Change nominals. You can use just one valuation change nominal or one for each type of stock.

Click on Add to create new nominals for the Stock and the Valuation change:

You can then set up the codes for the individual stocks.  

Ledgers >Stock to display the listing screen and click on Add to create the new stock items:

There is the option to have categories of stock but this is not mandatory.

The default Valuation Change nominal will be entered automatically if this has been set up in Settings>Asset Settings:

But this can be entered manually if
