Items can be used for faster and consistent data entry by using default codes and settings. Items can also be used to provide you with better visibility of sales or purchases of specific products and services.
Ledgers > Select Items to display the listing screen. To create a new Item, go to the listing screen and click on Add. Only the fields with a red star beside the name are compulsory.
Once saved, the item will appear in the listing screen. To edit an item, click on the blue Code field. To hide a used item code from the list, edit it and make it Inactive using the blue slide button.
You can display inactive Item codes on the screen by clicking on the plus sign in the Status field at the top and ticking Inactive. Any inactive codes will have a red dot next to them rather than green for the active ones
To select an Item code, click anywhere on the line so it is highlighted. This is also how you select an unused code should you wish to remove it.
The Ctrl/Shift keys can be used to select multiple item codes.
