Setting up Email Templates

There is the option to email Invoices, Credit notes and Statements rather than printing them. Default Templates have been set up for each type:

However, you can edit these templates or create your own bespoke templates.

To edit or create new templates, from the Main menu click on Settings>Email Templates.

To create a new template, click on Add. Give the template a Name, a Subject and select the Type i.e. Sales/Purchase invoice or credit note or Statement.

The list of all the fields (Placeholders) which can be inserted in the email is shown down the right hand side.

Select a field then drag and drop it in the template where you want it to appear.

You can further personalise the template with different fonts and size of print etc.

If you want your bespoke template to be the Default for that type you just need to slide the Default button to blue A blue and white switch
Description automatically generated . Only one of each type can be the default. Other templates can still be used but you will need to use the dropdown menu to find them when you create the email.

Email templates will default to the type required for whichever type of invoice or credit note you are entering or have selected from the daybook screen.

Also you can use the Filter  to search on the following criteria:
