Fixed Asset Reports

Modified on Thu, 24 Jul at 4:53 PM

To run the Fixed Asset reports from the main menu select Ledgers > Fixed Asset.

From the Reports button there are options to select Transactions, Net Book Value or Depreciation reports.

Transactions

Reports can be produced for selected Fixed Asset codes, or if none are selected the report will be for all Fixed Asset codes.

The Method button allows you to select transactions for a single method but if none are selected then all methods will be shown:

The default date range has the From date as the start date of the data and the To Date as today's date. These can be changed to any date range; refresh the report when the dates, or any of the other defaults, have been changed.

Drilldown

You can drilldown on any of the transaction numbers to view the original entry screen for that transaction. The cursor will change to a small hand when you hover over the correct place:

Net Book Value report

Again there are the options to choose specific Fixed Assets and also to choose specific methods:

The To date will default to the end of the current month so that the depreciation for the month is included. If you select a different date which is not a month end you will see a warning message.

Drilldown

In the NBV report you can only drilldown on the Purchase Price, Additions and Disposals columns. This will open the Transactions report from which you can further drilldown to the original entry.

Depreciation

The date defaults to running from the year start of the data but this can be changed. The report will show 12 months of depreciation and a total for the year.

Drilldown is not available on this report.
