Setting up Email Templates

There is the option to email sales and purchase invoices or credit notes, and statements rather than printing them.


Templates have been set up for each type: 


 


However, it is possible to edit these templates or create your own bespoke templates. 


  • From the main menu, go to Settings > Email Templates
  • To create a new template click on Add. 
  • Give the template a name and select the type i.e. Sales/Purchase invoice/credit note or statement. 


The list of all the fields (Placeholders) which can be inserted in the email is shown down the right hand side.  

 

Select a field then drag and drop it in the template where you want it to appear.


 


 

If you want your bespoke template to be the Default for that type you just need to slide the Default button to blue A blue and white switch 
Description automatically generated . Only one of each type can be the default. Other templates can still be used but you will need to use the dropdown menu to find them when you create the email. 


Email templates will default to the type required for invoices, credit notes or statements.
