When you first login the Dashboard is displayed:

At the very top, the name of the Company is on the left and the User who is logged in is on the right.

Click on the button with your initials on to Logout or to change organisation:

Beneath the button is the Search field and the Refresh button. Use the Refresh button if you edit a transaction through the dashboard, to ensure all the data is up to date.

When you start using the data entry and ledger screens they will appear as tabs along the top of the dashboard. These may be left open when working in a different tab. The screen you are using will have a grey tab whereas the rest will be blue:

When you first login, the menu on the left hand side of the dashboard will be showing the icons. If you wish to expand the menu to have the names of the screens visible then click on the  at the top or click on any of the icons.

The top line of the dashboard displays quick access to the Daybook and Entries screens of the 4 main types of entry i.e. sales invoices, bank receipts, purchase invoices and bank payments.

Underneath the quick access icons there is a snapshot of the latest figures for Bank Balance, Debtors, Creditors and Cash Position. On the right are the latest dates for Bank Statement, VAT Return and Last Transaction plus the last transaction number.

At the bottom of the dashboard are lists of Outstanding Debtors and Creditors. From these lists it is possible to drilldown to the actual transaction entry screen by clicking on the blue Txn number. When you drilldown you can edit the transaction if required; use the Refresh button when you save the transaction to update the dashboard.

The lists can be sorted by clicking on the arrows  beside any of the headings.
